Information on the project "Reconstruction of 964-1204 km of the highway A-380 Guzar-Bukhara-Nukus-Beyneu" in accordance with the agreement between the Committee for Roads and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
According to the agreement between the Committee for Roads and the ADB, the project "Reconstruction of 964-1204 km of the highway A-380 Guzar-Bukhara-Nukus-Beyneu" is being implemented. The project envisages the reconstruction of 240 km of 2-lane asphalt-concrete pavement road with the transition to a 2-lane cement-concrete road in 2020-2025. Therefore, the project developed a Land Acquisition and Resettlement Plan (LARP) report based on ADB requirements. The resettlement plan includes measures to assess and accept mandatory violations under the project, as well as clearly defined deadlines and budgets.
This document was prepared by foreign consultants in September 2019 and May 2020 and is currently being updated by the Employer. This report is provided for the ADB project in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
