The Council has started working in the Committee for Roads
Consistent
work is being done in the country to improve communication between state bodies
and citizens, to ensure reliable protection of citizens' rights and freedoms,
and to introduce modern mechanisms for solving their problems.
In
particular, a number of works have been carried out to create a unified system
of pre-trial dispute resolution, to transform mediation, arbitration courts and
international arbitration into effective alternative dispute resolution
institutions that can be trusted by citizens and businessmen.
In this
matter, it should be recognized that the decision of the President of the
Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to further improve the mechanisms of
alternative dispute resolution" was an important legal basis.
By the
appropriate order of the Committee of Motorways, the activity of the appeal
board for the settlement of disputes between individuals and legal entities and
state bodies before the court was launched.
According
to the decision, the following are defined as the main tasks of the Appellate
Council:
taking
steps to resolve disputes arising between individuals and legal entities and
state bodies before the court and making a conclusion;
in the
event that norms that can be interpreted in different ways are identified in
the legal document during the review of the appeal, in the event that it is used
incorrectly or in a conflicting manner in practice, to take measures to
organize their official interpretation in the prescribed manner;
making
proposals to eliminate the gaps in the legislation identified during the review
of the appeal.
