    According to the results of the study of the construction and repair work carried out in road projects in 2021-2022 in the media and social networks based on the information of the head of the Road Development Target Fund of the Ministry of Finance It is not true that in 45 cases 34 trillion 575 billion soums were recorded as ineffective and illegal spending.

    Although these materials state that a total of 13.3 trillion soums have been allocated by the Fund for the implementation of road works in 2021 and the first half of 2022, funds of 34.5 trillion soums are ineffective and It is illogical to claim that it was spent illegally.

    After the explanations provided by the press service of the committee, changes were made to the information on some sites, and the phrase "34.5 trillion soums" was changed to "34.5 billion soums".

    In turn, the information on the inefficient use of funds in the amount of 34.5 billion soums was clarified, and information was obtained from the State Financial Control Inspectorate under the Ministry of Finance.

    According to the submitted data, 12.1 billion soums (36%) out of 34.5 billion soums belong to enterprises and objects that are not related to the republic's road management system.

    15.8 billion soums (71%) of the remaining 22.4 billion soums were not approved.

    The remaining 6.6 billion soums of road construction deficiencies were completely eliminated during the inspection process and formalized with appropriate documents.

    It should be noted that among the identified shortcomings, cases of looting of the Fund's funds were not identified.

   The Committee for roads reiterates that it is open to all media, bloggers and citizens, and is available to answer any industry questions, while respecting the Constitutional rights to free speech.
