A number of seminars and open roundtable discussions are being organized within the framework of the anti-corruption month recently announced by the Committee for Roads.

    In particular, Abdug'aniev Oybek Alisherovich, the head of the Anti-Corruption Agency, and employees of the committee's central apparatus and system organizations took part in the event held in the central office of the committee. At first, the committee was given detailed information about the works being carried out in the fight against corruption, the "compliance control" system and this system. Also, information was given about the policy of combating corruption and the adoption of more than 10 departmental documents aimed at preventing this evil and their content. It was noted that open roundtable discussions with business entities were held within the framework of the month of fighting against corruption. The importance of ensuring transparency and openness in preventing corruption and the work in this regard were also touched upon. Information was provided on the application of the received documents in practice, and the procedure for applying when witnessing corrupt situations.

    O. Abdug'aniev, who was invited to the event, gave information about the work being done to fight corruption in our country. He stated that punishment for any crime is inevitable and gave detailed information about corruptive crimes and their consequences during the year. It was also emphasized that in the early prevention of corruption, it is important to fight not only with the consequences of the identified cases, but also with the causes that lead to it. The participants were told about the conflict of interests and the factors that cause it, and the work being done to improve the legislation. Also, at the end of the event, the participants expressed opinions and comments regarding the introduction of the system of mandatory declaration of income and property of civil servants and its importance.
