President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with housing construction in the city of Urgench.

Four nine-storey residential buildings with 54 flats each are being erected here on Khonka Street. They are built in a monolithic way using energy efficient construction materials. Apartments will be commissioned "turnkey". In the coming months, the houses will be inhabited and the area will be transformed into a modern quarter.

The head of state visited the showroom of the residential complex. He inquired about the quality of furniture, engineering networks, instructed to secure qualified maintenance of these apartment blocks.

In addition, information was provided on the construction works scheduled in the region, including a new building for the Binary International University in Urgench, repair of highways, construction of bridges, and the improvement of public utility services.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev then concluded his working trip to the Khorezm region.
