Shavkat Mirziyoyev sincerely, wholeheartedly congratulated all Muslims of Uzbekistan, all the people with holy holiday Qurban Hayit (Eid al-Adha), expressed his best wishes.

The President noted that the place and importance of Qurban Hayit in establishment of such noble qualities in our spiritual life as generosity, charity, friendship and harmony are invaluable. In this joyful holiday, we all, above all, thank the Almighty for the present bright days, peace and a clear sky over our homeland.

The reforms we are carrying out today in the name of comprehensive development of the country, ensuring happy life for people, happy future of our dear children, including measures taken to radically improve activities in spiritual and educational sphere are widely recognized by the world community, authoritative international organizations, – the President noted.

At a recent international forum in Washington on the issues of freedom of religion, Uzbekistan's efforts in this field were highly appreciated. This again demonstrates the great recognition of our activities in this direction.

We pay special attention to the study of the rich scientific and spiritual heritage of our great ancestors who made a great contribution to the development of Islamic civilization, the education of our youth in the spirit of high values of humanism, – emphasized Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The President sincerely congratulated people of the Muslim countries of the near and far abroad, all friends, wished them peace, prosperity and progress.
