President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Fergana region on May 6.

As reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, during the trip, special attention is expected to be paid to introducing manufacturing industry into the region's districts, providing the population with job, as well as youth issues. Familiarization with the activities of enterprises is planned, new economic projects are to be identified.
