Contract Title: Rehabilitation of additional sections of Regional Roads in Tashkent Region

Reference No.: RRDP/CWP-5

 The Republic of Uzbekistan has applied for credit from the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of the Regional Roads Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Regional Roads Rehabilitation in Tashkent Region.

 The Committee for Roads of the Republic of Uzbekistan now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for rehabilitation of the 26 regional roads in Tashkent Region. The works are subdivided in 8 lots. Works including rehabilitation of carriageway and related support works, repair and reconstruction of bridges, also electric installation works (lighting) in city areas.

Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers (January 2011) ("Procurement Guidelines"), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.

 Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 09:00 to 18:00 at the address given below.

 Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 3:00 p.m. (by Tashkent time) on January 25, 2022. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below at 3:00 p.m. (by Tashkent time) on January 25, 2022.  

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security for each Lot in the amount of below:

Lot 1: 100.000 USD or an equivalent amount in another freely convertible currency;

Lot 2: 80.000 USD or an equivalent amount in another freely convertible currency;

Lot 3: 170.000 USD or an equivalent amount in another freely convertible currency;

Lot 4: 125.000 USD or an equivalent amount in another freely convertible currency;

Lot 5: 225.000 USD or an equivalent amount in another freely convertible currency;

Lot 6: 110.000 USD or an equivalent amount in another freely convertible currency;

Lot 7: 165.000 USD or an equivalent amount in another freely convertible currency;

Lot 8: 155.000 USD or an equivalent amount in another freely convertible currency.
