President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Turkmenistan on September 17, 2017 at the invitation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and take part in the opening ceremony of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in the city of Ashgabat.

As reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on September 13, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Sydykov. 

As previously reported, on September 9-10, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Astana at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

On September 9-10, 2017, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Kazakhstan at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and take part in the First Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on science and technology. 

Оn September 5, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Kyrgyzstan with a state visit at the invitation of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev. 

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. DP-5177 of September 2, 2017 "On priority measures of liberalizing foreign exchange policy", one of the priority directions of the state economic policy in the area of further liberalization of foreign exchange market is the exclusive use of market mechanisms in setting the national currency rate in relation to foreign currency. 

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his visit to Almazar district of the city of Tashkent on April 21, 2017 gave instructions on reconstruction of the Imam Termizi mosque and proposed to establish the Center for Islamic Culture in Khazrati Imam complex (Hastimam).
