On February 27, a meeting devoted to analysis of execution of tasks on increasing exports and reducing imports, activities that are being carried out in this area in industries and regions was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. 

On February 22, a meeting dedicated to a critical analysis of effectiveness of measures taken on increasing the flow of foreign tourists, further development of domestic tourism, improvement and expansion of tourism services was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. 

On February 21, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting devoted to the analysis of the ongoing activities on reducing the volume of imports and expanding production of localized products, determining the most important tasks in this direction. 

Construction of these houses had started in May 2017 and will be completed in March this year. The residential complex consists of 39 five-storey houses, 1024 two and three-room apartments. Trade and service centers will be located on the ground floor. Apartments in houses are provided on credit for a period of 15 years. 

On February 15, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Vice President of General Electric Company Ronald James Pollett, who is in Uzbekistan on a working visit. 

On February 13, 2018, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Strategy and Finance of the Republic of Korea, co-chairman of bilateral Intergovernmental Commission Kim Dong-yeon, who is in our country on a working visit. 

The President of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the progress of construction of new multi-storey houses in Sergeli district, in Tashkent. 

On February 7, a meeting on issues of comprehensively supporting women and strengthening family institution was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
