On May 22, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu, who is in Uzbekistan on an official visit. 

In accordance with the program for 2017-2018, developed following the President's visit to Andijan region in June last year, more than 3 thousand projects worth 1.5 trillion sums were implemented in the region in 2017.
