In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. DP-5177 of September 2, 2017 "On priority measures of liberalizing foreign exchange policy", one of the priority directions of the state economic policy in the area of further liberalization of foreign exchange market is the exclusive use of market mechanisms in setting the national currency rate in relation to foreign currency. 

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his visit to Almazar district of the city of Tashkent on April 21, 2017 gave instructions on reconstruction of the Imam Termizi mosque and proposed to establish the Center for Islamic Culture in Khazrati Imam complex (Hastimam).

On August 27, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Taleb Rifai in Samarkand, who is in our country to participate in "Sharq taronalari" International Music Festival and the international conference on "Central Asian Renaissance in the history of world civilization". 

On August 27, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Samarkand. The head of our state began his trip to the region from visiting the final resting place of the First President of our country Islam Karimov. 

On August 23, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Igor Shuvalov, who is in our country on a working visit. 

On August 18, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Bekabad.
