On July 6, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, arrived in Astana. 

On July 4, a meeting dedicated to issues of targeted and systematic work with youth, creating decent conditions and providing employment for young people was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This was reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 

On July 2, 2018, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a Resolution on establishment of Bucheon University in the city of Tashkent. 

On June 29, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Olmazor district in Tashkent where he got acquainted with construction and landscaping activities in Ibrohim ota makhalla. This was reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

On June 27, a meeting dedicated to issues of implementation of "Obod qishloq" ("Prosperous village") and "Obod makhalla" ("Prosperous neighborhood") programs, improvement of settlements was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. 

On June 26, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting dedicated to ensuring production and export indicators in the automotive industry scheduled for the current year and determining prospects for development of the sphere. This was reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 

On June 22 this year, the UN General Assembly at the plenary session adopted the resolution "Strengthening regional and international cooperation to ensure peace, stability and sustainable development in the Central Asian Region". The document, the draft of which was developed by Uzbekistan jointly with the neighboring states of Central Asia, was unanimously supported by all the UN member states. 

According to the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On additional measures for accelerated implementation of investment and infrastructure projects" of June 20 of this year, from now on, the fee is not charged for pre-project and project document examination on infrastructure projects, implemented on the basis of Decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Cabinet of Ministers. 

The Republic of Uzbekistan continues its efforts aimed at contributing to stabilization of the situation in Afghanistan and its socio-economic development in accordance with the agreements reached at the International Conference on Afghanistan, held in Tashkent on March 27, 2018.

On September 1, 2017, the Head of the state had visited the Hazrati Imam complex in Tashkent, where he gave instructions on construction, goals and tasks of the center. A land of about 10 hectares was allocated near the complex. The project is developed, the site is prepared for construction.
